Plasma Fibroblast

Treatment Details

Plasma Fibroblast

Plasma fibroblast treatment is a non-surgical skin tightening procedure that uses a high energy discharge to make a small wound in the skin. This can encourage cells known as fibroblasts to repair the skin and maintain firmness. Nonsurgical skin tightening is a relatively common procedure. Because plasma fibroblast therapy targets past the outermost layer of the skin, it can produce skin cell renewal, leading to a radiant complexion. The main benefit of fibroblasting is the skin-tightening effect it produces.

Benefits of our Plasma Fibroblast Treatment

The benefit of Plasma Fibroblast treatment lies in its non-surgical and minimally invasive approach to skin tightening. It requires minimal downtime compared to surgery and delivers lasting results.

While its effects may not last as long as those of surgical face tightening, the procedure can be repeated more frequently to maintain flawless, youthful-looking skin. This treatment is especially ideal for addressing less intensive areas where surgery might be too severe, offering an effective alternative without the need for invasive surgical procedures.

Frequently Asked Questions FAQs

Plasma fibroblast treatment is a non-surgical procedure designed to tighten the skin by using a high-energy discharge to create tiny micro-wounds. This process stimulates fibroblast cells, which play a key role in skin repair and maintaining firmness. Non-surgical skin tightening is a fairly common treatment, and because plasma fibroblast therapy works beneath the skin's surface, it promotes skin cell renewal, resulting in a glowing complexion. The primary advantage of this treatment is its effective skin-tightening results.

The average treatment time is about 60 minutes, this includes 25 minutes of consultation and numbing time, however, this can be slightly shorter or longer dependant on the size of the area being treated.

You will be numbed before the treatment with a topical anaesthetic, however, this will not make the treatment completely pain free. Most clients will experience a mild but bearable discomfort. The eye area can be more uncomfortable but again, bearable. Immediately after the treatment clients usually find that the skin can feel tight, warm and slightly tender.

The day following treatment, clients should expect some swelling, particularly around the eye area, along with minor pain and soreness. This typically subsides within 1-2 days. Using a cold (but not freezing) compress and staying active to encourage blood flow can help alleviate these symptoms.

Clients will notice small scabs (eschars) across the treated area where the electric spark was applied. These scabs usually fall off around day 5, though healing times vary from person to person. It is crucial to let the scabs shed naturally without picking or attempting to remove them, as this could lead to scarring. During the healing process, avoid sun exposure and artificial light sources, such as sunbeds. Once the scabs have fallen off, we recommend applying a sun protector to reduce the risk of pigmentation.

The skin may also appear red and feel dry during the healing period, which can last a few weeks. Coconut oil can be used to address dryness, but it’s important to wait until all heat has dissipated before application.

Most clients heal and see results within two weeks, but in some cases, it can take up to six weeks. We recommend waiting at least six weeks before undergoing another plasma treatment.

Healing times and reactions can vary significantly depending on the individual and the area treated. After the procedure, we will stay in touch to guide you through each stage of the healing process and address any concerns you may have. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled four weeks after treatment to assess your results.

The number of sessions required depends on the individual client, their goals, and the severity of the skin concerns being treated. Some clients may achieve satisfactory results after just one session, while others may need 2-3 sessions for optimal outcomes. For minor wrinkles or small treatment areas, one session may be sufficient, but more pronounced wrinkles or larger areas may require multiple sessions. This can be discussed during a complimentary 30-minute consultation.

It's important to note that the results of this treatment are not permanent, as it does not stop the natural aging process. To maintain your results, we recommend undergoing the treatment every 12-18 months.
